JOSEPH A. SCUTIERI, ESQ., the senior partner in the firm, has more than 25 years of experience as an attorney in New York and New Jersey. Born and raised in the New York Metropolitan area, he attended both undergraduate and law school there, making the Dean’s List each time. He literally has successfully closed and personally handled thousands of real estate closings. He has handled hundreds of matrimonial cases, up to and through trial. He has handled and drafted hundreds of wills and assisted clients with their estate and business planning. Mr. Scutieri regularly represents buyers and sellers of real estate. Further, the firm represents several big lenders, including Wells Fargo Bank, N.A.., Mortgage Master, Inc., Webster Bank, Citibank, N.A., M & T Bank and Bank of America. Mr. Scutieri has been a sought-after source for several New York Times articles, regarding specific cases and commenting on specific aspects of the law. Mr. Scutieri was admitted to the following Bars: 1986, New York; 1986 New Jersey and U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey; 1989, U.S. District Court, Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. Education: Fordham University (B.A., 1982); Pace University (J.D. Cum Laude, 1985). He is a member of the Westchester County Bar Association, New York State Bar Association and American Bar Association.
DAVID J. ALBANESE, ESQ., associate attorney, is a lifelong resident of the tri-state area. He has represented the needs of clients great and small; from publicly traded multinational corporations to first-time home buyers and small business owners. Mr. Albanese is seasoned in New York real estate practice, having conducted or negotiated hundreds of residential and commercial closings, short sales and commercial leases. He is also experienced in the firm’s matrimonial and estate planning practices.
He was admitted to practice in New York (Appellate Division, Second Department 2007) and Connecticut (2006). Mr. Albanese received his undergraduate education at Fordham University (B.A. 2003) and his law degree from Brooklyn Law School (J.D. Cum Laude 2006). He is a member of the Westchester County Bar Association, the Litchfield County Bar Association and sits on the Board of Directors of the Community Culinary School of Northwestern Connecticut.
